FreeSee what ChatGPT says about your brand

Meet Gemma, your health AI content marketer.

She learns your brand from your store, decides what you should publish, writes it in your voice with citations a pharmacist would accept, clears it through claims compliance, ships it to Shopify, and reports what it earned. Every week, without you.

magnesium glycinate for sleep

Does magnesium glycinate actually help you sleep?

In a randomised trial of older adults with insomnia, supplemental magnesium shortened the time it took to fall asleep1 compared with placebo. That is a sleep-quality effect, not a cure for insomnia.

Who it is for

Built for one kind of company, on purpose.

Health content has its own rules, its own evidence bar and its own way of getting you in trouble. A vertical writer beats a general one every time.

  • Supplements, skincare, functional food, fitness, sleep, women's health
  • $500K–$10M a year, one to fifteen people, on Shopify
  • A blog with somewhere between zero and fifty posts, updated rarely
  • You have paid a freelance writer $150–$400 an article, and stopped

Unlike

Generic AI writers

Jasper, Copy.ai

They give you a draft and no opinion. No claim rules, no sources, no idea what you should be writing about, nothing that publishes.

SEO platforms

Surfer, Semrush

They tell you what to write and leave you to write it. The work — and the legal risk in a YMYL category — is still yours.

Autoblog bots

SEObot, Outrank

Volume with no voice and no compliance. In health that is the fastest route to a helpful-content demotion or an FTC letter.

Health Writer is the whole job: vertical-native, claims-compliant, evidence-cited, Shopify-native, built to rank in Google and in the answer engines, and honest about what it earned.

01The loop

Not a prompt box. A loop that runs every week and gets better each time.

Generic AI writers stop at the draft. Gemma owns the whole cycle — and every edit you make feeds back into the next one.

  1. 01

    Learn you

Gemma reads your store: products, ingredients, existing posts, reviews, the claims you already make and the ones you avoid.

Brand Brain · voice exemplars · product + claim rules

  2. 02

    Find the topic

She watches search demand, competitor gaps, Reddit questions, your support inbox and what answer engines are asked, then scores opportunities.

    Radar · scored opportunities · 90-day calendar

  3. 03

    Gather evidence

Every claim gets a source before a word is drafted: PubMed trials, reviews, monographs — mapped claim by claim.

Claim → evidence map · strength graded

  4. 04

    Write it in your voice

Brief, outline, draft, images, internal links and schema — written against your style guide and the lessons she has learned from your edits.

    Writer pipeline · voice-match scored

  5. 05

    Clear compliance

A claims linter plus an LLM judge check every sentence against FTC and DSHEA rules for your category and markets. Nothing reaches you unchecked.

    Non-bypassable gate · logged overrides

  6. 06

    Publish and measure

One click to Shopify with images, schema and internal links. Then rankings, sessions, AI-search citations and revenue come back.

Publisher · Scoreboard · weekly note

Then it starts again. Traffic and citations tell Radar what worked. Your edits and comments become lessons Gemma applies to the next draft — and she tells you what she changed, in her weekly note.

Your edits count

Every cut and comment turns into a rule you can read, edit or retire.

Nothing ships unchecked

Compliance and fact-check gates cannot be skipped, only overridden on the record.

02The promise

Health content is a legal minefield. Gemma knows where the mines are.

Your category is YMYL: Google holds it to a higher bar and the FTC holds you to a legal one. A faster writer is worth nothing if it writes something you have to take down.

  • Every claim carries a source

Claims are extracted from the brief before drafting and mapped to trials, reviews and monographs. Unsupported sentences are rewritten or cut — they never make it to your desk.

  • Structure/function language, not disease claims

A rule-based linter plus a low-temperature judge check every sentence against FTC advertising rules and DSHEA structure/function limits for your category and markets.

  • Required disclaimers, in the right place

The FDA statement, medical-advice notice and any market-specific disclaimer are inserted and verified — not left for you to remember.

  • Reviewer bylines that resolve

Expert reviewer personas with credentials and Person schema, so “medically reviewed by” means something to Google and to a regulator.

  • Overrides are explicit and logged

You can override a flag. It takes an acknowledgment, it is recorded with your name and the reason, and it shows on the article forever.

Health Writer is not a law firm and this is not legal advice. It applies the rules your category lives under so a human reviews a much shorter list.

04Pricing

Cheaper than the freelancer you stopped paying.

A mediocre health article costs $150–$400 from a freelance writer, and still needs someone to check the claims, add the schema and publish it. Annual billing is two months free.

05Questions

The ones every founder asks first.

Mostly some version of “is this going to get me de-ranked or sued?”

Will Google punish me for publishing AI-written articles?

Google penalises unhelpful content, not automation. The demotions in health come from thin, unsourced, undifferentiated pages. Gemma writes from your products and real evidence, cites her sources, attributes a named reviewer, and caps cadence — we actively discourage publishing more than three articles a week. Refreshing an article that already ranks usually beats adding a new one, and she will tell you when that is the case.

How do I know the citations are real?

Evidence is gathered before drafting, not invented afterwards. Each claim is mapped to a specific source with its PMID or DOI, study type and year, and a fact-check pass verifies that what the article says matches what the source says. Anything that cannot be supported is rewritten or cut, and you can open the claim-to-evidence map on any draft.

Can it really sound like us?

It starts from your existing posts, product copy and reviews rather than from adjectives, and every draft is scored for voice-match against those exemplars. Then it gets better: your edits are diffed, your comments are read, and both become short, specific rules — “open with the reader's situation, not a definition” — that Gemma applies to the next draft and tells you about.

What happens to my edits and comments?

They become lessons. Low-risk ones (banned words, formatting) apply immediately; voice and structure lessons wait for your confirmation. Everything lives on a Memory page you can read, edit and retire, so the writer's style guide is never a black box. You can export it as a human style guide too.

Do I have to approve every article?

At first, yes — review-first is the default. Autopilot is earned: once a brand approves several articles without meaningful edits, you can let a category publish automatically, with cadence caps and the compliance gate still in force.

What if the compliance checker is wrong?

You can override any flag. It takes an explicit acknowledgment, it records who overrode it and why, and it stays visible on the article. What you cannot do is publish past a blocking claim without anyone noticing.

Which platforms can it publish to?

Shopify is first-class: articles, images, tags, schema and internal links go up in one click. WordPress and Webflow are supported as publish targets, and everything is available as clean HTML or Markdown if you would rather paste it yourself.

How does the AI-search work actually differ from SEO?

Answer engines retrieve and quote rather than rank ten links, so they favour a different shape of page: a direct answer in the first hundred words, dense entity facts, tables, numbers, FAQ blocks, fresh dates and consistent brand facts across the web. Health Writer builds those citation pages, keeps llms.txt and robots.txt honest, pings IndexNow, and tracks which prompts mention you across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and AI Overviews.

Is this legal advice?

No. Health Writer applies FTC advertising and DSHEA structure/function rules for your category and markets so a human reviews a far shorter list of problems. For anything novel, or for a regulated medical device or drug claim, talk to your regulatory counsel.

What happens when I cancel?

Your articles are yours. They stay published on your store, and you can export every draft, brief, evidence map and your style guide on the way out.
